Gong Practitioner, Sound Therapist Using Tuning Forks, Reflexologist, Reiki & Pellowah

About Me

Hi and welcome to my page, although many of you may already know me through the community gong baths that I have run in the South Wales Valleys since 2017.

My interest in holistic therapies started around 20 years ago when I was experiencing a particularly difficult time in my own life and was offered reflexology as a form of stress relief. I was fascinated by the treatment and the

benefits it gave me physically, mentally and emotionally.

Fast forward a few years later where I went on to train in reflexology, purely as a hobby. I soon had the bug to continue to learn in various modalities including sound therapies.

All my training has been through face-to-face training to gain recognised qualifications and I

am fully insured.

I had my first Reiki attunement in 2006 but it was

the reflexology that started bringing it all together for me with the mind, body, spirit connection.

Through my paid employment as a Project worker in the community working within the Voluntary sector, I was able to introduce a wide range of holistic therapies to the wider community who would not necessarily know about treatments and their benefits, this also gave me a great deal of experience.

Group Gong Baths

Don't worry there is no water involved and no clothes are removed!

A Gong bath is an immersion in sound waves where the gongs are played therapeutically, not banged loudly like you see at the start of some films. There are many aspects to sound therapy ranging from the science to spirituality. The various tones produced work on the brainwaves to give a similar effects and benefits of meditation, this also works at a cellular level. Spiritually working on balancing and clearing the chakras and aura/energy field.

Gong bath sessions are available for 1 to 1, Small and large groups, Corporate and Community events including staff wellbeing sessions.

Reflexology

Reflexology is a wonderful treatment that not only balances all systems of the body including hormones and has been shown to be helpful with fertility and menopausal issues.

It can also help eliminate toxins from the body, can help with pain reduction, improves circulation, improves sleep and can help symptoms associated with stress and anxiety.

The feet are seen as a mirror of the entire body, by using various massage type techniques this brings balance to all systems, helping the body work more efficiently.

Pellowah

Pellowah is another form of energy healing that was channelled in 2003 by an Australian spiritual teacher.

The purpose of Pellowah is to facilitate positive change to allow you to reach your highest purpose, it unblocks and realigns the meridians within the body.

This is a hands off the body treatment where I work within your energy field/Aura, there is no music, smells of oils or incense so they do not interfere with the pure Pellowah energy.

Sound Therapy

Sound Therapy using tuning forks with different frequencies is similar in principle to acupuncture/acupressure in that it clears energy blocks in the body and helps the energy flow.

Using different forks on and around the body helps to balance the chakras and clear the energy field, again the sound and vibration is working on the brain waves to calm a busy mind, also working at a cellular level that can help reduce pain and aid wound healing.

FAQS

What should I wear?

Preferably wear loose, comfortable clothes with layers, when we

relax the body temperature naturally drops.

What should I bring to a gong bath?

Bring a yoga mat, Blanket and pillow/cushion. If you prefer not to lay

on the floor you are welcome to bring a garden style reclining chair.

Most importantly an open mind.

How long does the session last?

Sessions are approximately an hour, if you are organising an event, I

need 30mins each side of the actual session for setting up and

packing away.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are available for any amount, ranging for a payment to attend a group session up to a block booking of 6 sessions.

Health Insurance

Some health insurance policies will reimburse the cost of your treatments once they have copies of my qualifications and insurance, please check with your insurance company to clarify if this is an option.

Can children attend a Gong Bath?

Children and young people do attend, I have had 8-year-olds attend with parents but these already attended meditation classes.

Young people need to be still and quiet for an hour so as not to disturb other attendees, I do however offer shorter sessions with gentler sounds as adult and child sessions.

Please message me with any questions.

What are the benefits?

Any holistic treatment aims to balance the body and mind,

treatments may include improved sleep, removal of toxins from the body, reduction in the symptoms associated with stress and anxiety that in turn can be beneficial with regard to pain management, in general giving an overall feeling of wellbeing.
